Talent Representation and Roster Governance Policy
[Drag in Demand / Gaybors Group]
Effective Date: December 18, 2025
1. Purpose
This policy establishes clear standards governing talent submissions, roster inclusion, and representation decisions for The Gaybors Group. It is intended to protect the integrity of the agency’s roster, ensure consistency in decision-making, and preserve the agency’s discretion in all representation matters.
2. Agency Discretion
The Gaybors Group retains sole and absolute discretion to determine which artists, performers, or talent it elects to represent, onboard, promote, or include in its roster.
Submission of an application, referral, or registration, whether submitted directly by talent or by a Director, partner, or third party, does not guarantee representation, onboarding, booking opportunities, or participation in any agency programs.
The Gaybors Group may accept or decline any submission at any time, for any reason or for no reason, and is under no obligation to provide feedback, explanation, or justification for any decision. All roster decisions are final.
3. Scope of Representation
The Gaybors Group curates its roster based on the specific creative, professional, and programming needs of its clients, partners, and markets.
Representation decisions may consider factors including, but not limited to:
Artistic and performance alignment
Professional experience and readiness
Market demand and booking viability
Current programming focus and roster balance
The scope of talent represented by The Gaybors Group may evolve over time. Not all forms of performance, entertainment, or artistic expression are represented at all times.
4. Talent Submissions & Applications
All talent must be submitted for consideration through the agency’s official application or intake process.
Submission for consideration:
Does not constitute approval or representation
Does not grant talent the right to use agency branding, titles, or affiliation
Does not obligate the agency to engage further
Incomplete, duplicate, or misaligned submissions may be declined without notice.
5. Director & Partner Submissions
Directors, regional partners, and affiliates may submit talent for consideration only via the official application process.
Directors and partners:
May not independently approve, onboard, or represent talent on behalf of The Gaybors Group or its verticals (Drag in Demand, Drag Trips Comedians in Demand, Gaybors in Demand, Music in Demand, or any future verticals)
May not guarantee representation, bookings, or roster inclusion
May not communicate agency acceptance without express written approval from agency leadership
Final roster decisions are made exclusively by The Gaybors Group Leadership Team.
6. Communications & Declinations
When a submission is declined, the agency may communicate the decision using a standardized response and is not required to engage in further discussion.
The agency will not engage in debates, explanations, or correspondence regarding:
Individual roster decisions
Definitions or classifications of performance styles
Comparative evaluations between artists
7. Policy Enforcement
Failure by any Director, partner, or affiliate to adhere to this policy may result in corrective action, including limitation or removal of submission privileges, suspension of role, or termination of affiliation.
8. Reservation of Rights
The Gaybors Group reserves the right to update, modify, or interpret this policy at its sole discretion at any time.
Meet the Directors
These are the folks who connect the dots: curating rosters of local talent, managing bookings and building partnerships with promoters, venues, nonprofits and Pride. They champion the mission that drag isn’t just entertainment — it’s culture, community and collaboration.
