At Drag in Demand we also offer clients curated drag experiences, in partnership with our production partners, that are anything but ordinary. Drag Coordinator: John (AKA Cake Pop!)

With years of experience in the nightlife and entertainment industry, John is proud to serve as the Drag Coordinator. As a drag queen performing under the name Cake Pop!, John brings a unique and invaluable perspective to the industry. His firsthand understanding of what both performers and clients need allows him to contribute to a platform that simplifies the booking process while ensuring fairness, transparency and professionalism.

John is committed to inclusivity and excellence, bridging the gap between performers and clients, in turn ensuring that the art of drag is more accessible while empowering entertainers to shine on every stage.

Drag in Demand Director: New York City

Mac Craighead (he/they) is a Brooklyn-based Experiential and Creative Producer and the founder of Sissy Fist Productions LLC. By day, Mac works as a Global Producer with Fever Originals, contributing to international projects such as Moment Factory’s Astra Lumina and Netflix’s Stranger Things: The Experience. By night, they produce vibrant nightlife and drag events across Brooklyn and New York City through Sissy Fist. Mac is excited to be a part of Drag in Demand, because he is committed to putting money where it matters most—directly into the hands of queer talent within our communities, and he can’t wait to help create more opportunities to do so!

The Gayborhood Council is a dynamic collective of LGBTQ+ artists—DJs, drag queens, hosts, mixologists, musicians and industry experts—who bring their passion, perspective and purpose to the forefront. Each member plays a vital role in moving forward Drag in Demand’s mission to create opportunities, amplify LGBTQ+ voices and celebrate LGBTQ+ talent on a global stage.
